Sills Family Farmhouse

This home built in 1910 was my client’s grandparents home. When we started, the floor was rotting away, the staircase faced the opposite direction it does now, and there were walls dividing all the main living spaces. Older homes like this are the most rewarding projects, taking something abandoned and breathing new life into it! We went with a soft neutral color palette throughout the space, bringing in green as the accent color to reflect all the giant trees outside. The kitchen is now fully functional with a restored stone fireplace and wall of windows. This home is great mix of old and new!
